This is a shoot I did with “The Cotton Mill Crew”. -Which consists of the same people that I shot with at the Warehouse Fashion shoot. It is a fabulous group of people; photographers, make up artists and hair stylists. We all kinda do our own thing or collaborate from time to time/ use eachothers equipment. All of the Photographers captured excellent photos, mine were probably average in comparison! We work with different models every month or two and come up with a different theme for each shoot. One of the issues I had in Prescott was that the location was about a a ten minute hike and I had to make two trips with 100 lbs of gear. I knew I’d need my lights for when it got dark out, but I missed a bunch of daylight and thus, missed some great opportunities with the models in the natural light. We waited until after the sun set to do the fog photos. What we did not plan on was that the temperature dropped about 15 degrees and our hands were numb and I had to break down and pack up all my gear with only flashlights and numb fingers. Hey- it makes for a good story right?
The models were terrific. Alyssa was featured in Maxim as a Hometown hottie… Brittany is an ex Suns Cheerleader, and Bekkah and Karely are beautiful with tons of experience. So, it made the shoot a lot of fun. Plus, hair and make up rocked (thanks to our artists) and wardrobe was good too.
