The Icehouse is seriously my favorite building in Phoenix. In a city where anything older than 30 years gets torn down and replaced with the newest stucco monstrocity craze, some-how, some way, the Ice House has managed to survive. The owners are every day people and artists. And because they’re artists, they know not to destroy the fabric of this beautiful historic building. The Icehouse was originally built in 1910 and served as “Constable Ice Storage” where 300 lb blocks of ice were manufactured to keep food products cold on long railroad transports. The Icehouse also hosted some serious raves in the 1990’s… (So I’ve heard) :) There are tons of creepy rooms with old crank windows, elevator shafts, concrete and brick walls, wood trusses and beamed celings. What more could you ask for for a photo shoot?
I decided to pull together a team of All Star make up artists, hair stylists, photographers and great models to have a big sexy Fahsion photo shoot. This was so much fun! Below are my pics:
